Comments
The early parts of the Peddar Way are lovely.  Further up it passes within a few hundred meters of a lake which lies out of sight but who's mosiqutoes make themselves felt in summer.
There is a more direct route from Watton to Necton via Ashill which could save you 3 miles of walking but involves walking 2 miles of a main road.  Not having walked this route I am uncertain as to whether there are verges that might make this a feasible route.
The Necton campsite lies just off the western edge of the map and behind other properties. 
The entrance lies to the south off the road just before Chapel Road rejoins Ivy Todd Road.  The entrance can be seen in the picture below looking back down south east down Chapel Road.
